Pathetic from City Hospital

My mom had a mental breakdown and she was admitted at city hospital.. They did not help her with anything except giving her medication and food for the past 3 days.. I called mom she was crying saying she wanted to go to St Joseph hospital because nobody is helping her with anything except feeding her medication and food which is something she can do herself at home. I personally called Akeso UMhlanga to see if they can admit mom there because her doctor works there. City Hospital refused to discharge mom, I had to make numerous phone calls for the hospital to discharge my mom coz keeping her against her will is not helping.. yet they told her that Akeso Umhlanga there was no bed available.. but I called Akeso umhlanga and arranged everything there was bed available, city hospital refused to transport mom to Akeso Umhlanga… I made arrangements for her transportation. Mom arrived at Akeso umhlanga and realised that her medication which city hospital nurses took from her that diabetic meds, they did not give it to her when she left, I phoned city hospital to please take mom’s medication and give it to her at Akeso Umhlanga.. they kept telling me that their driver is not here they will make arrangements.. I am so disappointed with city hospital… Very Poor service. Do not send up your loved ones to city hospital. The Nurses are rude and they not welcoming and do not want to help. Pathetic!
