Apalling service at City Girl Shallcross

I am apalled by the service I received at City Girl in Shallcross. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect. I purchased an evening gown but the event which I was set to attend was cancelled. The dress was expensive and I had no use for it so I went into the store to do an exchange for items which I might actually be able to use on a day to day basis. I would like to reiterate that all of the tags and labels were attached and the dress was in the original packaging. The manager of the store had the most disgusting attitude, she was extremely rude! I was told that they do not accept exchanges on evening wear. She then went on to insist that I was told this when I purchased the dress, this was not the case. I was never advised that there are no exchanges on evening wear. The manager went on to ignore me and behave as if I were not speaking to her, she then inisted that I was "making it up" because apparently they advise all customers of their return policy. She then went on to discuss my issue with other shoppers, insinuating that I am a ****! I have never experienced such pathetic service and it's an embarrassment. I asked for the details of the owner because I wanted to discuss the matter with her. I was told that the owner is only in the store at 20:00 on a Monday evening and I would have no choice but to come at that exact time. I then contacted the owner telephonically to discuss my issue with the store. She was honestly the most unreasonable person I have spoken to, she would not listen to word I had to say and she cut the call on me several times.

They should be ashamed of themselves.
