Drivers don't collect or call according to agreed time

City Couriers were supposed to pick up a couch from me for Mr Price 2 weeks ago. Finally, they contacted and I explained to them the times that would work for me for collection. This was agreed upon. The next morning they called me at 8:20 and said they wanted to collect "now" which actually meant after 9. I had clearly said that I need to be at work by 9 so this would not work. I asked if they could come Friday and they said that they would. I took of work to be there so I could get this done. I had no contact whatsoever on that Friday. Nothing from the offices or the drivers. Then I contacted them the following Monday (2/9) and it was agreed that they would come before 9 the next day. I waited until 9:30 and was late for work and had to work overtime to make up for the driver's ineptitude. I called the centre and said that I am tired of making my plans around them and that now they will plan around me. I was made some more vague promises and I am still waiting to hear back. I was told something about a strike but that is not my problem and the company should have policies in place for this or Mr Price must find a new supplier.
