Nightmare experience and bad service

I would like to share my nightmare experience and bad service I received from Citton cars Gezina.I enquire about a 2013 Ford Kuga and De Wet Booysen showed it to us.After a testdrive we decided to buy it.The purchase price with the admin fee of R5000 came to R169997. They request a deposit of R5000 which we paid.They agreed to service the vehicle and replaced the cracked windscreen. The Tuesday De Wet informed me that the vehicle was ready for collection against payment of the outstanding balance of R164997 About 15 minutes later he phoned back and said he made a mistake with the vehicle and the price.The vehicle he showed us and we bought is a 2015 model and the price is R219000 . He and his sales manager were arogant that if I want the vehicle thats the price I have to pay. If not they will refund the R5000 or I can wait to buy the 2013 model that was somewhere in a workshop. The legal advice I received confirmed that I can insist on the vehicle I bought with the verbal contract. They also draw my attention to the fact that if there is a court case it can be a long process and that I can be without a vehicle for some time. As my wife and I are pensioners we decided that we cannot afford the additional cost of a court case and to be without a vehicle for an indefinite time. I informed De Wet of our decision and insists that R5000 be refunded immediately .Needless to say that it was only refunded the Friday evening. The sad part is that there was no formal apology from Citton cars or any attempt from them to find a solution for the problem they caused .There attitude was that if you want the vehicle you pay more or leaveb it. There was no sympathy or understanding for the the inconvenience they caused
