Citton cars Gezina and Bosch Service Centre Pretoria

If I could rate Citton Cars Gezina and Bosch Service Centre Pretoria below one star, I would.

We purchased a Suzuki Grand Vitara CASH for my mother from Citton Cars, and before the sale we were provided with a “full Bosch check” stating that the vehicle was 100% in good condition. Within a week of owning the vehicle, we discovered a long list of serious faults, including engine oil leaks and bent drive shafts.

We immediately reported the issues to the salesperson, Glenn Watkins, who instructed us to bring the vehicle back so their workshop could inspect it. The experience from that point has been completely unacceptable. On the day we dropped the car off, Glenn did not even have the decency to come speak to us in person. He ignored my calls while we were at the dealership and only responded after security contacted him. We were then told to leave the vehicle with security.

It was also only at this point that we discovered the Bosch workshop responsible for the inspection reports is owned by the same dealership, which raises serious concerns about the honesty and credibility of the “Bosch check” provided to customers before purchasing vehicles.

The vehicle has now been with them for almost four weeks, and trying to get updates or answers has become a constant battle. Glenn is extremely difficult to get hold of, and when he does respond, the only explanation given is that they are “waiting for parts” — yet nobody can tell us which parts are supposedly being waited for or provide any meaningful update.

This entire experience has been frustrating, dishonest, and a complete waste of our time. We paid cash for what was presented as a reliable vehicle, only to be left dealing with major mechanical issues and poor customer service.

At this stage, we simply want the vehicle repaired properly and for Citton Cars Gezina and Bosch Service Centre Pretoria to stop wasting our time and take accountability for the situation.
