Advertise one price and sell at another.
<p>I responded to an advert in the auto trader for a vehicle listed at R179,000. I submitted all paperwork and was advused that finance had been approved and I could come and finalise paperwork and collect the vehicle on Saturday morning. My wife and I drove over an hour to the dealership only to discover that the finance deal was based on a totally different, higher price of R215,000. As I was nit prepared to conclude the deal at this increased price, we left. When we got home I called the salesman (Martin) back to advise that I would be back on Monday to conclude the deal at the advertised price as I believe they need to honour this. His response "we already sold the car cash". That is utter ******* and a weak attempt to dissuade me from pursuing the matter.</p> <p> </p> <p>Unfortunately for Citton Cars, this response only stoked the fire. I will let the world know about the shady business practices I have experienced from Citton Cars.</p>
I am very happy to report that Citton Cars have made good on their promise to make it up to me. They apologised for the incident and assured me that this was one isolated incident, a genuine mistake on their part and have made a plan to supply me with another vehicle at a good deal.
Thank you to Andrea and Martin. You have definitely changed my perception of your business and I would certainly make use of your services again.
