A Bunch of ********

I bought a BMW 318i 2017 model from them on the 28th February 2018 and the sales person was Andries, around September during the rainy season the headlights started to be misty and tried up and became misty again when there was rain, on the the 10th Dec 2018, I took the car back to inquire about the mist on the headlights and if the car was ever involved in an accident before they sold it to me because BMW Fountains advised me that the car has cracks on the headlights due to the impact, Andries advised me to book the car at Zambezi auto because they did the quality checks, I took the car to Zambezi on the 14th Dec and I was advised that the car had cracks underneath and confirmed that during their quality checks they do not strip down the car to check if there are unseen damages.

I then went back again to Citton Cars and spoke to Andries to inquire as to why he sold me a defective car, only then he decided to tell me that the car had 1st owners and they deny that the car was ever in accident, however this was the 1st time I was told about the 1st owners because when I purchased the car he informed me that the car was a demo from BMW and they purchased it there.

on the 18th February 2019, BMW zambezi confirmed that the headlight cracks was accident related and I went back to Andries to inform him, however he wanted to pass the bug to BMW.

I referred the matter to MOISA however they decided that because I only notified the car dealer after 6 months and that I could seen the defects within six months of purchase, but my question was how would I have seen the defects??

fast forward to today, I found that the left headlight was covered in silicone glue and was welded, the right headlight had cracks underneath, which could only be seen after stripping down the car. I have Photographs.

I was sold a defective car that was involved in an accident by Citton Cars and they could care less.

Regards
