I bought a car at citroen centurion in November 2016. With ecxitement I signed and took my car. The car was advertised with rims and a suroof that attracted me to it at R165000. I bought the car and all was well. January 2017, I was invlolved in a car accident and my car was a write off. The insurance assessed the car. While doing so they confirmed the specifics of the car with the manufacturer , which had advised that the car came standar with smash and grab and the rims that I had liked on the advert. To my suprise when I re-read the contract , I was shocked to find out I was charged an extra R20 000 for rims and smash and grab. I queried this with the dealer and he said the car was modified with the rims and smash and grab, I then asked him why would that be excluded from the purchase price then and why is it listed as an accessory when I had bought the car on second hand. Its not as if I asked them to modify the car. I saw the ad and liked the car. We went back and forth and I was told they wont pay me back my R20 000 that they *****ed me with.
