Giving the service industry a bad name

My husband and I have a huge problem where we lost our citroen car key. We have no immobiliser or extra key to use or duplicate. We do however have a key card with the number, we received when we purchased our car. Easy right? We got a locksmith to use code to sort out the immobiliser but the code didn't work.......In comes the Citroen dealership.....

My husband has now repeatedly phoned countrywide.....Johannesburg, Somerset West, Bellville, Cape Town.....We need to find out if our code is correct or not \ or then get a new code to GET OUR CAR TO START!!!!!!

We have now been repeatedly told that we'll be phoned back(code for: NEVER TO BE HEARD FROM AGAIN!) We have had inconsistant information with prices.....one branch quoted 3 TIMES what the other told us.

We have now been told that the systems are offline and codes can't be checked........We have not been given an idea when to expect to get the code that is needed TO START OUR CAR!

We are expected to just wait to maybe be phoned back, to maybe being reasonable charged!

DO NOT BUY A CITROEN! ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY WILL OFFER YOU NO DECENT AFTER SERVICE.

Do I now contact an ombudsman to sort out the fact that I cannot use my car, because four branches of Citroen could , sorry WOULD, NOT HELP.

Ronelle
