What are with these ridiculous prices for power?
I moved into a new rental property in the beginning of March and didn't need to buy any units as the agent said whatever there is we can use free of charge.
Now April comes along and we need units, just to find out its R3.60 a unit. What are with these ridiculous prices for power? we use at maximum 300 units a month and you charge R3.60 right off the bat?
I've seen some reviewers making this complaint and then you change it to standard rates? Why try to make it so expensive in the 1st place?

The tariff is set according to the municipality’s tariff.
Our service fee is 8.45% excluding VAT and depending on where you purchase your electricity there is an additional cost by the Channel called Channel fees of 3.45% excluding VAT. These channel fees can be avoided when purchasing electricity using our App or Web portal.
