Units issue - bad sevice
I have sent emails and many whatsapps with no reply or feedback regarding my query. I bought R800 electricity on 31 Aug and only got 282.9 units. I bought R1000 today via my bank and got over 450 units ... please check why I got so few units for my R800. I bought R400 on 18 Aug and got 155.4 units.

Thank you for taking our call.
As per our telephone conversation please be advised that the tariff is set according to the municipality's/ Eskom tariffs, which would be a flat rate (the same rate throughout the month) or a block tariff (which may fluctuate based on consumption).
We have established that the tariff for the meter number in question is set on an Incline Block Tariff(IBT) which is the reason for the rate fluctuating based on consumption.
Our service fee is 8.45% excluding VAT and depending on where you purchase your electricity there is an additional cost by the Channel called Channel fees of 3.45% excluding VAT. These channel fees can be avoided when purchasing electricity using our APP or Web portal.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance.
