<p>Before getting the meter i emailed and the response time was great but now it seems once they 'catch' you the customer service goes away.</p> <p>They say that they charge you 9.25% for their fee and that if you buy via eft its free (or else you pay an extra amount for service fees). Well last month i bought R700 and got 364.6 units (bought via cellphone banking) and this month i got 343.2 units for R700 (bought via cellphone banking) and thats way more then 9.25% How is this possible??? Please explain.... meter number: ********** 5584</p>

Please note that the tariff set on your meters is NOT determined by Citiq Prepaid, but is supp**** by the owner of your property on the regsitration of the meter.
When you purchase a token you will pay the owners tairff (set by him/her) plus our service fee
Citiq Prepaid activaly manages its service fee downwards, and reduced its fee to 8.75% (of token value) + vat from 1 April 2016, to relieve the burden of the Eskom tariff increases for our customers. Citiq Prepaid offers the lowest fee structure in SA.
If you use our SpeedPay EFT instant method, there are no other payment fees, and your token is generated within 15 mins, and SMS'd to you automatically. However, should you use a store or other external channel like Flash, there is a payment charge of up to 3.95% + vat (of token value)
If you would like to send me your meter number, I will follow it up with your Owner, and ensure that it is appropriate for your building.
