RIP of rates! Ridiculous
This company is a ******* , I bought electricity for R300 and only got 96 units? I have had the meter for a few months and thought I've been buying at the wrong time of the month. Meaning for every R 100 I get 32 units, you are worse than loadshedding. After using these units up, I'm out. Good people dont go for these meters. I thought you'd bring a solution but this is ridiculous!

If you purchased prepaid electricity multiple times in a month and wondered why your tariff rate differed, it is most likely because of Incline Block Tariffs.
The electricity price per unit is divided across several blocks. The first block is the cheapest price per unit but there is a maximum quantity of how many units you can buy at the cheapest rate i.e. block one. After you've purchased the maximum units from block 1, you will move to block 2, a more expensive rate per unit and so on.

04 Jan 2021, 09:57No it's not incline block tariffs, yesterday was the first time buying electricity. Stop deceiving people you are charging more than you should. Wether its block 1 or 2 you charge the same rate. People must just refrain from using your meters you are cheats.
