Rebate not paid

It is 3 full weeks of calling Citiq for my rebate due to me. I was first told I was not registered and they don't have any of my supporting document as an owner.

I sent them all and was told that it will be a maximum of 7 working days the funds will be released. I received February 2024 rebate and March 2024 was still outstanding. After 7 days I called and I was told they have resubmitted my payment, I must give it 24 hours. After 24 hours I called and I was told 48 hours. That was not the least of it. I called again now I'm a bit upset and I ask where is my rebate. The agent asked to confirm my banking details, only to find out the banking details they have on the system have changed and now they have a Nedbank account linked to my profile. I don't know where did they get a Nedbank account when the documents I sent had another bank. So between the time of receiving my rebate for Feb and the processing of March rebate nobody knows how my banking details were changed or why were they changed.

So now they have found a problem which is on their side and till today I still have not received my rebate. It gets even worst, I called and asked to speak to a manager, she was not available, never the less I left my phone number for her to call me back. I did receive the phone call on Wednesday 24/04/2024 and I was promised my rebate the next day and she will even send me the proof of payment. Nope nothing was paid to me and no proof of payment was sent. I called again today 26/04/2024 and asked to speak the same manager same story we apologize and I will send communication to our accounts department and this will paid today.

By now I am starting to ask myself, did I make a bad decision to buy their product? My April rebate, will it also disappear with endless communication. The error was on their side and the fact that I have to be the one that keeps following up and wait this long because of their own mistake is really upsetting. I am actually thinking of going the legal route maybe then someone will do something about my case.
