Pathetic *******! Someone is *****ing somewhere.
For 3 years we stayed in a complex where we did not pay prepaid but got a normal municipal account. Never more that R1200 a month. And that in winter time. Summer never more than R800. Electrical geyser, stove all included. Now we moved into this place with a Citique prepaid meter and we pay R250 every 2-4 days! Its absolutely ridiculous! I want somebody to come and look into this and definately will take it further as something fishy is going on. To crown it all its gas geyser and gas stove now and still...more than double what we used to pay so far! Pathetic!

17 Jun 2023, 09:52Good Morning Christelle,
We have tried contacting you telephonically but you were unavailable, is there an alternative number that we could reach you on?
Please provide us with your meter number in order for us to investigate from our side and provide further feedback.
Kindly note, our service fee is 8.45% excluding VAT, and depending on where you purchase your electricity there is an additional cost by the channel called a channel fee of 3.45% excluding VAT. These channel fees can be avoided when purchasing electricity using our App or Web portal.
We look forward to your response in order for us to assist further.

17 Jun 2023, 12:14Its a lie. You dont even try. My husbands phone range. One rang and it died. So thats how much effort you put into calling. IF that was you even. So no just phine again and the world practise is not to put the phone down after it rang only 1 time. Our meter nr is ***. And despite all your ridiculous "fees" to use R250 in less than half a day without a stove or geyser or heaters in the house is plain daylight *******. This will be taken further. As NO person can afford a electricity bill of R7500 a month. As this is what it would amount to at the going rate of R250 for half a day.
I would rather pay a lawyer then to sort this out. Your call centre very profesional agent just shrugs it shoulders and tell us to contact our landlord.... As if that will solve ANYTHING! YOU ARE THE PROBLEM NOT THE LANDLORD!

17 Jun 2023, 12:26Plus I tried to use the app to buy new electricity but it seems to be just as useless as your agents. It DOES not work. So I suggest not charging your clients for using alternative rputesto buy if you are not competent enough to have your own app working!

18 Jun 2023, 12:01Good Morning Christelle,
As per our telephonic discussion with Mr. Griessel yesterday and this morning, he confirmed that you were able to purchase electricity.
We confirmed that we will follow up tomorrow afternoon regarding the electrician that the owner has arranged to come out to check the meter regarding the irregular consumption that has taken place.
We have contacted the landlord and requested the latest council bill / prepaid slips for us to check the tariff and have emailed you the tariff breakdown.
We trust that this provides clarity but if there is anything else that you require assistance with, please don't hesitate to contact us.
