Good Morning John,

As per our telephonic discussion, the tariff that is set is the applicable municipal tariff that your Landlord is on which is City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality Domestic Tariff A IBT.

Our service fee is 8.45% excluding VAT and depending on where you purchase your electricity tokens, there is an additional cost by the Payment Channel called the channel fee of 3.45% excluding VAT.

As explained, these channel fees can be avoided when purchasing electricity tokens using our Tenant App which you can download from the Google Play Store or you can log into your tenant user profile via our website on the Web portal, you will need to visit our website to register as a tenant user, here is the link: https://www.citiqprepaid.co.za/how-to-buy/

We trust that the above provides clarity. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further assistance.
