Citiq prepaid incompetence
Meter no. ***2
To deal with citiq prepaid is frustrating. A tenant bought electricity yesterday and it did not work. He called citiq this morning and was made to hold for more than 5 minutes only to be told they cant trace his payment that was done via the app, they promised to investigate and get back to him. He then informed me this afternoon and I called and was told the matter was escalated to Florence Mbananga (Supervisor). i asked for the turnaround time and was told it's between today and Tuesday next week, I was given a reference number: *** by Thami. To my surprise when I called again quoting the reference the lady who answered could not pick up anything with the refence that I was given by Thami. The lady tried to call the supervisor Florence and could not get hold of her. I also sent an email to Kyle he has not responded. This is not the 1st time I encounter such incompetence with this company.
Thank you for taking our call.
At Citiq Prepaid we strive to provide our clients with the best service and we want to apologize for the inconvenience and poor service you have received from us.
Please be assured that the service failure will be addressed and dealt with accordingly.
We can confirm that the issue was with the other service provider that moved your meter from us to them on the 30th of October that is why the meter was not accepting the tokens. An email was sent to you with all the proof where the other service provider confirmed the meter was registered on their system that is why they moved it to their side.
We generated a token for you on Sunday the 3rd of November while were trying to sort out the issue with another service provider who confirmed you registered the meter with them back in 2020.
Kind regards,
The Citiq Prepaid Team.
