Citiq Prepaid BIG Mistake
Hi All, a bad review for today on Citiq Prepaid. Working well up until where the equipment fail then the Company are firstly clueless and secondly cannot support their own product by supplying a replacement keypad only. My tenant have a prepaid water meter and the keypad stopped working. Citiq suggested to replace the keypad..... But its not available from any store...please order it sir.... NO temp solution and supplier quoted a 3 day lead time to get it from Citiq. What do I tell my tenant? Wait for 3 days till you can have water again?? The lesson for today from this is to make sure that your prepaid supplier empower you as Landlord and can support the service that they promise, including providing quality equipment in time and in stock from suppliers/agents. By the way you cannot speak to management, the option is not available and the claim is that they do not have the number of the executive ..... Will you deal with Citiq in future ... definitely need to look for someone else to replace the equipment. And there are alternatives prepaid providers available.
Citiq really tried to assist and Sylvia thank you for that but if you management team and your manufacturer is not backing you then it is of no use.
Its unfortunate that you cannot supply a keypad sooner than 3 days.
The keypad seem to fail due to battery life and unfortunately you cannot replace the battery you need to replace the keypad at quite a cost. They do promise a typical 10year lifespan and here I am 2 years down the line.....
The OEM of the equipment do not deal with you, you need to deal with their respective distributers.
MY VIEW : like with everything in life, Its very nice when its working , but when it fails you have zero support from Citiq or from the manufacturer.
So guys all in all find yourself a prepaid supplier that's supporting his product in full and can advise on technical fail as well as stock on hand and surely Citiq does not fall in that category this round.
