Citiq power *******

43 units for a R100 that's a real *******. What's the point of using prepaid electricity, if it's going to cost you more.... friend gets double what I get for the same amount this is really ridiculous..

Dear Dandro
We are sorry that you are not satidfied with your prepaid meter....let us try and help you...
The tariff that Citiq Prepaid charges is set by the Landlord, and not by Citiq Prepaid. The Landlord uses our meters to RECOVER his cost of providing electricity to his tenants, and should set his tariff at the same that he/she pays the Munciplaity / Eskom.
If your friends is getting double the units you are, then the Landlord where he resides might be being charged a different tariff from the Munciplaity / Eskom than your Landlord.
If you supply us with your meter number, we can look into it, and ensure that you are being charged the appropriate tariff for your residential area.
Kind regards
Simon (Director - Operations)
