EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE - CITISPRINT NEVER AGAIN

We contracted Citisprint in order to collect a police clearance certificate from SAPS Pretoria.

We advised Citisprint that the certificate was ready for collection on 19th December and mentioned that the delivery to Cape Town was urgent as the applicant was leaving the country on 25th. We were then told that it would take 3-5 workings days (21st to 23rd december). I sent 2 emails to which I never got a reply.

After this delay, on Friday 23rd I phoned citisprint, which team, by the way, has been noticibly rude and unprofessional (hanging up, not phoning back, not replying to emails etc.). We were then told that due to the holiday and short staff SAPS the document wasn't collected but would definately be collected on Wenesday 28th.

The person (Yolanda) would told us so "disappeared", never mentioned that she was going on leave and never bothered to leave a note for this matter to be resolved urgently.

On 28th, we phoned again and we told that the collection wasn't garanteed and it could still take 3-5 days. WHY????

We then decided to arrange collection by another company (Courier Angels) and informed by email Citisprint to cancel their collection. We paid R 129 and were told that collection would take place on 29th and delivery on 30th. As a good gesture, the manager of Courier Angels understanding the urgency of this metter, sent out his driver to collect on 29th and was told that Citisprint had already collected!! We phoned citisprint who told us that the certificate was collected sent to cape town's office going to be delivered on 30th. WHAT THE HELL ???

In this matter the context is very important. The applicant had to leave SA as his visa expired and was due to renew immediately on arrival in his country of origin in order to come back ASAP, having left behind wife and daughter, due to an unforeseen situation (UCT PhD student who couldn't graduate due to the protests). The situation was explained several times to Citisprint who couldn't care less.

In order for the document (which was supposed to have arrived in Cape Town before the departure of the applicant), we had no choice but DHL the certificate to the applicant's country of origin.

In order to save time, I drove 30km to Citisprint office to collect the certicate myself. On arrival I was speechless!!! I had to pay R 140 yet we received the worse service I can recall in 8 years living in SA and I collected, meaning they didn't have to deliver to our door. When I asked why I was paying full amount, the lady (Thandi) disappeared with the certicafe without a word. A few minutes later, another lady brings back the certificate shouting at me! She greeted me "good day", to which i rep****"hi" and she shouted "I said Good day"!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!

I am beyond words for such horrible service and no customer care whatsoever.

They are unprofessional, careless, rude and this cost us R 429 which (excluding R 140 for citisprint) which would have never happaned if it wasn't for them!!!
