Don't ever buy any vehicle from this dealership!!! My wife bought a Ford Ranger XLT super cab from them that was advertised as a vehicle with a full service history. 1. They never disclosed that they fitted a different engine with unknown service history. When it was discovered we already went through the border with this vehicle. This made our vacation a living nightmare. 2. They never changed the engine number on the Natis document which constitutes *****. 3. Whichever roadworthy center made out the roadworthy certificate did not make out note of this discrepancy. The vehicle probably never even left the showroom for this "roadworthy" test. 4. Engine started giving massive problems on our way to a vacation after less than 800km of receiving the vehicle. My wife only then was told that we should just bring it back on our return to have it fixed. This was not what she wanted as she bought this as a 1 owner, with full service history vehicle and wanted the deal uplifted after less than a month of ownership. 5. The owner Ian now want her to pay rent for the vehicle before he will have the deal uplifted. Maybe he did not understand that with 3 other 4x4 vehicles that we own, we really didn't need to hire a 4x4 for our vacation and maybe he should read up on the difference between hiring and buying a vehicle. 6. Wesbank should force their "client" to uplift this deal and get my wife out of this very *****ulent deal with a less than honest dealership, but they are also not coming to light to sort out this mess. For anyone looking to buy a secondhand bakkie or Jeep, stay away from CIT, dishonest to their core.
