Unaccredited with SAQA
I am writing to express our deep concern and frustration regarding the CIPS Diploma qualification and its recognition in the South African market. According to CIPS records, the qualification is SAQA accredited, yet, despite my wife successfully completing her Diploma, she has been disadvantaged in an employment opportunity. This is due to ongoing ambiguity around its formal NQF (National Qualifications Framework) level, with no resolution despite multiple efforts to clarify the matter between SAQA and CIPS. It has now been months.
To assist with evaluating qualifications, South African employers frequently refer to the NQF. It provides a standardized comparison for various educational levels, and clarity on how the CIPS Diploma aligns with this framework is critical for its acceptance in our job market. We kindly request written confirmation of the specific NQF level associated with the CIPS Diploma Level 4.
