IT error then useless call centre

A change of Directors (adding one and resigning another) to the company for which I am Company Secretary is fairly bread-and-butter stuff for CIPC, I should think. <br> But the website has errors - it asks for a date requiring that a calendar be used to select from - but then populates with the wrong format - un-bel-lieva-ble doll! Inexplicably it eventually accepts the date but then gives an error of 'duplicate' record .. so I phoned the call centre, listened to a long winded intro of 7 options, none of which suit so goes to an operator ... 14 minute wait, then a clearly unhappy 'consultant' comes on, tells me to submit my change of director details 'manually' and asks me for all kinds of ID info, which they have already on their system!!!! <br> I must confess i needled her with how unhelpful all this was, and she put the phone down on me.<br> Must be a miserable job to have - shame.
