CIPC deducting money off our account & ignoring us

The CIPC online system enables one to generate a disclosure certificate at a cost of R30. One simply fills in the details, the R30 fee is deducted off your account with them and the disclosure is emailed to you.<br> Last week the CIPC website was having a hiccup - as soon as I clicked on the Generate certificate button, the money was deducted off our balance but instead of emailing us the certificate an error was displayed to the screen.<br> The fun part is trying to contact the CIPC to either refund our R30 fee or to send us the certificate.<br> I have been fobbed off to a couple of people but now have hit a dead end and NO ONE is getting back to me to resolve this matter. <br> Last year a similar thing happened (also after they had 'site maintenance') and I, like an idiot, tried 3 times to generate the certificate - each time the fee was deducted off our balance and no certificate was emailed. R90 off our account for nothing! Imagine if a million users had the same experience - R90million would be sitting in someones pocket.<br> Just venting here. I know that I have lost that R30 fee (again) and will have to take the gamble and retry the disclosure certificate generation (because I need it).<br>
