Cannot register online because of accent in name

When trying to register as a customer I have to use the accent on an e (?) for my surname. But the system then doesn't carry it over to the next page so my name is incomplete and I cannot edit my name on that screen. When I try to continue I get the error \ID and surname do not match".<br> <br> I cannot register as a customer to get a customer number.
