Ciovita - Very poor online service!

POOR ONLINE SERVICE! On the 24th of November (Tuesday) I made an online purchase of x2 Doodle jerseys in XS (for a friend and myself), I paid for the items as the online shop said they were available, and received email confirmation of my order. I heard no communication back that there was any issues. On 26th November (Thursday) I called to confirm all was ok with my order as I had no delivery or email feedback on when delivery will be. I was told, oh sorry we only have x1 Doodle top left and I need to choose another jersey in place of the 2nd one. I was understanding, however I still had to choose a jersey that wasn't my first choice. I phoned and emailed confirming my choice for the 2nd jersey and I received email confirmation back that all was in order and and verbal confirmation that my purchase would be delivered hopefully Friday otherwise definitely the following week (this week). On the 2nd December (Wednesday) - a week after my original purchase..... I get a email from Ciovita stating "they are aware I wanted to get my hands on the Doodle jersey however unfortunately, so were several others, we had several simultaneous orders for the garment and we are therefore not able to fulfill this item in order. And that they have passed me a refund for that specific top" (THE VERY ONE THAT THEY SAID THEY HAD FOR ME AND THAT WAS CONFIMRED TO BE DELIVERED TO ME), No phone call to tell me or ask me if I want to choose ANOTHER jersey, nothing....and to make matters worse..... They said "help lessen the pain of not getting what you wanted on Black Friday, Please see the below less 20% discount code we have generated for you." I DIDNT PURCHASE THE GOODS ON BLACK FRIDAY! I made purchase on the TUESDAY 24th November. The excuse was they are a small team and struggling with the load of order received... this is now me as a customers problem. So now the Modello jerseys is being delivered to me and I must now wait for the refund to reflect (in a FEW days) in order to purchase the other jersey.... I just wanted this purchase to run timely and smoothly and all I got was hassles. NIGHTMARE of a purchasing system!!!!
