Sinful Service at Cinn-Full
My daughter and I visited Canal Walk this Saturday past to shop for some items that she required for varsity res for winter. She loves cinnamon buns, and when we visit Canal Walk, more often than not we pick one up to take away from Cinn-Full, and she consumes it in the car on the way home. We have found the staff to be friendly and competent previously, but this past Saturday, it was as if all the previous staff had been replaced by lazy, ***********, unhelpful individuals who were only there because they had to be. We waited a good few minutes before any of the 3 actually bothered to ask us if they could assist us, by which time a substantial queue had developed in front of the counter. They were all far too busy with some conversation of their own. My daughter's dry and unappetizing cinnamon bun was dumped into a box and shoved at her without the plastic fork that is usually offered, or even a serviette. When I asked for a fork I was glared at and told that they didn't have. We subsequently managed to source a plastic fork from an alternative vendor, who was happy to assist us even though we had not purchased anything there. Absolutely sinful service from the Cinn-Full staff!
