Unsatisfactory feather down duvet
I bought a feather down King Size duvet online from Cielo and it has been a disaster. The feathers that come out every time we change the bed linen is astonishing. It looks like a snow storm! (I'm not kidding.) Not to mention all the feathers stuck inside the actual duvet cover! We thought it would settle down and hoped it would stop but after several months its still the exact same problem. When I contacted Cielo they claim it is not a 'manufacturing fault' and refused to do anything about it. Well - I would love to know what kind of fault it is as I have never experienced anything like this with ANY of the feather duvets I have owned, in this country or the UK. Terrible service and product and will NOT buy again.
Please note that the feathers coming out or sticking out are a normal occurrence with this product as it is actual duck feather so they will ***** out every now and then, it is a natural part of it. Over time and with use the stems will soften up. This is therefore not a manufacturing defect.
