Goods not unpacked and assembled by delivery personeel

I purchased Brooklyn tv stand and McKenna bedside table 2 drawers from Cielo Alberton on 31/05/2024,upon delivery on 11/06/2024 the delivery personeel said he only delivers as he is the 3rd party and he dsnt assemble or unpack the goods,who is supposed to unpack and assemble the goods? If they are defects on the goods delivered how will they be identified,i had to pay someone to unpack and assemble the bedside drawer,is it fair? I still haven't unpacked the tv stand and i hope there are no defects.It is worse coz the sales personeel did not tell us about all this,i could have went to another furniture shop.
