Buying ready made Furniture only to DIY the Fit & Paint job yourself anyway

My experience with Cielo was really really disappointing to say the least. I don't think I will be back again. One of my items was sold to me on a 'special' and then told that it was on back order and would need to wait a a little bit longer than usual, only to wait an entire month to be told (only after I followed up) that it is no longer in stock and has been discontinued.

They did offer a a different colour of the same item, and have received it, however now have a gun metal coloured coffee table with a white TV stand and are totally mismatched. So in the end I paid for "ready-made", "easy assembly" items only to have to have them sanded & repainted for almost the same amount that they were worth to begin with.

The coffee tables holes for assembly did not align to the point where we had to drill new holes, and had lots of marks on the panels inside and outside.

They did offer to replace it, but after the entire ridiculous experience I opted out and just wanted everything concluded. Still waiting for my R200 refund on the difference though. Not surprised. Don't know what happened to them and why but my past experiences went smoothly.
