LIGHTENING STRIKE--- TOP POLICY VERTEX

On the 16th of February 2016, my home was hit by a massive lightening strike ---a freak and very unfortunate incident. I was shocked and so was my son as the strike hit my home . Almost everything was damaged .My alarm --every sensor ,telephone and internet, downlighters popped out ,plugs, wiring , kettle , toaster, glass top hob, fridgemotor(which is now leaking water) TV and satellite dish eye .It also burned through a pipe in my bathroom and the water started leaking through the tiles . This is all despite having an electrical certificate of compliance for my home . The lightening apparently struck the Telkom wire . Most of my neighbours were also hit in my road . I called the CIB emergency no as I was too nervous to touch anything and they told me to go ahead and call my own electrician. He came immediately and helped and at least gave me a few lights to use .<br> On Monday 17th January , I called my brokers and they told me to go ahead and get in the people to attend to my damage . So within two/three days my electricity, alarm, satellite was fixed . I sent in the bill . I bought a new kettle and toaster . Ihave paid out R61000 so far ---NO PAYMENT FROM CIB ALMOST 4 WEEKS-FURIOUS
