Trusted to protect family & property?

Reaction time not bad at all. Problem is, there is a problem with the signal, which means the equipment might be faulty. But to get them to respond or even answer the calls, that's the challenge. Chubb is saying the installer is responsible. He doesn't answer his phones, nor bother to return the calls. I signed a contract with Chubb, NOT the installer. The same happened when they billed me a month too early, the installer was blamed. I am not quite sure who to turn to as installer blame Chubb and Chubb blame installer. I am going on holiday in 3 weeks time, how am I to trust an unreliable alarm system to protect my property while I'm away..??
3 Year contract signed in Nov 2015 - it's going to be a LONG 3 years if my first 2 months are going like this...!!
I am so tired of poor service delivery in SA, but I guess we are stuck with it, and must just deal with it..??
