Think Tice
When the sales person of Chubb meet with you and they say.. 3-5min response times, just also keep in mind this is only when load shedding is not in affect. Then the response times is about 1.5hours, even though an security officer is just up the road from you. So when there is load shedding you better get your gun out as you are on your own. Be safe and consider another security company. <br>

What is Chubb doing to minimise the effects of load shedding?
As load shedding and erratic power supply are going to be with us for at least the next three years, finding a solution to service level challenges is currently our top priority.
We will be embarking on a significant upgrade to our Monitoring centre software, to implement new technology into our Automated Alarm attendant. This will give us a further 64 \virtual\" operators (automated voice prompts) to deal with power outages and false burglary signals arising from load shedding. This will then allow us to adequately deal with the increased signal volumes during load shedding.
