The most appalling service and debt management

My worst business experience. Receiving threatening messages that I will face legal action if I don’t pay more payments after cancelling my contracts more than 16 months ago.

During the latter halve of 2014, I was approach by two Chubb marketers, working for Fanie Verwey, representing Chubb, at my home in Clubview, Centurion, convincing me that Chub can give me a better service and price than ADT. Since I still had three contracts with ADT, they undertook to have the ADT contracts settled before taking any money from my bank stop order. This did not happen and needless to say I had to pay for three contracts at ADT as well as Chubb for another six months before my ADT contracts ran out and could be cancelled. The beam in the garden which they installed is up to date not functioning and give false alarms and I had to cover it up. And, by the way, Chubb's response time when alarm went off is also appalling.

On 17 February 2015 I wrote to Fanie Verwey, informing him about my dissatisfaction with the installation and requested that he must cancel the three contracts. He did not respond and I wrote and email again in April 2015 stressing the urgency of my request. I was eventually informed by Chubb offices in Pretoria in October 2015 that I must return the radio units in order to have the contracts cancelled, which I did.

Chubb still deducted instalments from my account for another month or so.

Now in February 2017 two amount of R234.78 was deducted from my bank account and when I followed up I was notified that may account was only settle after these deductions.

Now I am receiving messages from NuDebt that I should pay two payments to the amount of R437.23 to avoid legal action.

I strongly advise against doing busines with Chubb Fire and Security.

Thank you Hellopeter for your quick response. Despite your action and reference to Chubb's Marie le Roux an amount of R234.78 was once again from my bank account on 13 April 2017. These people semms to be scavengers and not ethical business people at all. Chubb must fall.
