Shocking Customer Service

After nearly 30 years of being associated with ADT security I decided to switch service providers in February 2016. On a recommendation from a friend I contacted CHUBB Security to request a quote. In no time at all I was contacted by a salesperson who arranged a meeting. At this meeting we discussed pricing as well as the transfer process. At this time I was advised that Chubb was desperate to get into the ADT dominated Newlands area. I was told that the entire process would be handled by CHUBB and that they had done "hundreds" of such transfers. There would be no need for me to contact ADT or my Bank. At this stage I agreed to the switch and signed all necessary documentation. I was somewhat annoyed when the 1st of the month arrived and I was charged by both CHUBB and ADT. After numerous calls I eventually spoke to Mr Martin Botha who referred me to Mr John Taylor who undertook to sort it out. After several weeks and further discussions the CHUBB debit was eventually refunded. To my absolute amazement on the 1st of the following month I was again debited by both ADT and CHUBB and to make matters worse CHUBB collected some annual fee which was never discussed with me. Numerous further calls were made and messages left. It became obvious that John Taylor was avoiding me and I eventually again spoke to Martin Botha on 29 April to express my disappointment and frustration at the service being received from John Taylor. He apparently is an ex ADT employee and was "busy" at the Decorex show in Cape Town. I don't accept this as an excuse and Martin Botha assured me that he would sort this out. 6 days later and I still have not heard from anyone! I did indicate that I may want to find an alternative service provider but could not afford to be without any security for any length of time. Martin indicated that he wished to retain my business and there was no need for me to move. This whole affair must rate as some of the worst service I have ever experienced. I fail to understand why I have had to waste so much time had so many discussions, left so many messages and having to pay double premiums and am now no closer to resolving matters. This really is pathetic non-existent service and is most annoying

Following my report regarding the shocking service received from CHUBB I received a response on 10 May (13 days ago!) that the matter had been escalated. Since then I have heard NOTHING let alone the relevant refund that was promised more than a month ago. It realyy seems like no one cares or is interested in company reputation. Absolutely pathetic and disgusting service!
