Poor communication regarding medical boarding

<p>I was working for Chubb Security Far East as a reaction officer and I was shot while on duty out on a call in 1999 in Pomelong Thembisa. I broke my back and had 7 back operations. I was hospitalised on and off for more than a year because I could not walk. I returned to work and was placed in the control room. After a while in 2004 the company send me for physical health test and they decided that I will be medically boarded. I was sent home and told to wait for further instructions regarding my medical boarding. I did not up until now resign not was I fired. I have not had any feed back regarding my medical boarding up until today. Nor have I received any compensation. </p> <p>This has now been 12 years and NOTHING has been done. I spoke to my superior Mr Havenga, he then handed the matter over to HR whom will be N.Nkosi. I have sent them numerous e-mails but I am not getting any feed back or response from them. </p> <p>I really think that it is a very poor image for the company and 12 years is a long time to wait for them to sort out my things. I have not even had a phone call to apologize that they have not done anything or why it is taking so long.</p> <p>How am I suppose to provide for my family? </p> <p>Technically I am still employed at Chubb so they need to sort out my medical boarding and pay me my salary plus the yearly increase on my salary for the last 12 years.</p> <p>I hope and trust this message will reach the right people.</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p>
