More than 2 hours to respond to alarm activations

I have signed up with Chubb mid December 2014 after being with ADT for more than 8 years. I was promised the stars by CHUBB but the service is absolutely appalling.

On 5 February 2015 I had an alarm activation at my premises at 20:10 but the control room only informed me at 22:44 (2 and a half hours after the alarm went off!!). . . . .Then the same occurrence on the 7th of Feb 2015 - the alarm went of at 14:15 but Chubb's control room only informed met at 16:30 (once again more than 2 hours after the actual alarm). . . .So on 8 Feb 2015 I activated the alarm myself at 11:40 to test, but Chubb only phoned at 13:20 (almost 2 hours after the alarm got activated) . . . . .

In all 3 instances, the control room's excuse was that the delays are caused by power outages and load-shedding, which causes a high volume of alarm activation on their side. . . . .Surely Chubb should be able to handle major power outages as load-shedding is becoming part of our lives!...So what is going to happen if a real break-in occurs? Will it take Chubb 2 hours to respond? I am about to cancel by contract, even before the 1st debit order is about to go off, and rather return to ADT!!
