Let down by National Security & Fire
I changed my alarm service provider recently because I thought I was getting a great deal, it has become a nightmare. The National Rep was smooth and persuaded me to give them a try as he was giving me a great price , he did not mention that besides my first month subscription , I will also be debited for a radio fee R600 plus an adminstation fee of R350. Imagine my surprise when all these debits went through my bank account . I tried to contact their customer service centre a few times and eventually got through to a very nice gentleman who apologised and promised me that because of my bad experience , I will not be billed for 2 months but will still receive the full service. I was happy then and considered the matter closed . Once again I was let down by National Fire because at month end they debited me per usual R395 ( no free month ) without even giving me notice and because I wasn't expecting my debit I did not make provision for it in my current account , so to add insult to injury the unexpected debited cost me a further R150 as that was the bank fee for the returned debit , not to mention the damage to my credit score. Thats just the financial side of things , on the technical side my fire alarm kept on going off nd I called the customer service line several times and an arrangement was made for a technician to come n check out my alarm , 6 weeks later I am still waiting for them to contact me regarding checking out my alarm .
