Disgusting service

Two weeks after technicians from Chubb Security (at a cost of R700) came to check my security system, the battery suddenly died at 3:30 am early Saturday morning. This resulted in a constant beeping noise from the keypad every 15 minutes. Obviously it was impossible to sleep and eventually an hour and a half later someone from their technical department was able to tell me how to disable the transmitter and stop the irritating beeping noise. Later that morning I called Chubb and requested a technician to come through to replace the faulty battery and make sure everything was ok. I was kept waiting on the phone for around 10 minutes until eventually someone on their end put the phone down. I called back a further 6 times over the next 2 hours and after being put on hold for ages, was finally put through to a technician who couldn't help me because i 'wasn't in his area'. I called back again and again, and in between the phone being put down on me, and technicians who couldn’t help because I lived in the wrong location, eventually gave up due to severe frustration. This is not the kind of service one would expect from a security company trying to establish themselves in a residential area with so much competition from other security companies.
