********* AND DISSAPOINTING! SINGLE MOTHER **********!

<p>In mid-2014, I was approached, AT MY HOME, by representatives of Chubb Security, the option to take up a contract for home security/alarm system</p> <p>I signed up and the alarm system was installed AT MY HOME, not long after</p> <p>The contact was for 5 years and as a single mother with 2 kids, I was happy to sign up, knowing Chubb would assist if ever my children’s safety was compromised</p> <p> </p> <p>6 months into my contract, my worst fears came to life. It was 8 pm at night, the kids were doing homework and an unknown man tried to enter our front door</p> <p>I rang the alarm and Chubb was quick to respond saying they would send someone. The man was not scared off and tried to get in through other parts of the house</p> <p>He only ***ardly ran away once the neighbours scared him off</p> <p>An hour later and no Chubb car insight! I finally called only to be told MY HOME WAS IN A “NO GO AREA”!!!</p> <p>Absolutely unacceptable!!! Chubb approached me AT MY HOME to sign a contract!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>After much back & forth with the branch I signed up with, I eventually requested my contract be immediately cancelled and my money debited off my account be refunded me</p> <p>To date and now 8 months later, and after many many requests, my money has not been refunded, Chubb still debits money from my account, and they still have the audacity to send me</p> <p>statements and constant calls to say I am owing them money!!</p> <p> </p> <p>To Chubb, you begged door to door for business, then misled and blatantly ****, just to sign up and take money away from a single mother with no intention of ever securing her!</p> <p> </p>
