Dangerous driving / abuse of company vehicle.

On the afternoon of 7 November, my girlfriend and I had what could only be described as a frightening experience with a member of Chubb Fire & Security personnel.<br> <br> Coming up Victoria Ave. towards Parktown, a white Toyota Etios, registration no. DF 07 HN GP, driven by a single individual, came up behind our car at high speed, hooting constantly and weaving among the traffic with clear disregard for his own safety and that of others. He cut in front of our car, forcing me to brake hard to avoid hitting him.<br> <br> I though he might be responding to an emergency call, until I saw him pull up next to someone in a metallic beige Toyota Corolla, who was quite obviously a friend of his. The two conversed until the light turned green, whereupon the individual left the scene at high speed.<br> <br> If this is the calibre of individual that Chubb are hiring these days, it's no wonder that the reputation of SA's private security industry is so bad.<br> I strongly suggest better pre-employment screening, and real-time tracking for Chubb patrol cars. If this individual had involved us in an accident, I would have had zero hestitation in suing Chubb for reckless endangerment.<br> <br> I am quite frankly disgusted.
