Cancelled contract & returned radio!
In June, I cancelled my contract for Security with Chubb. I was told that I could either return the radio myself or be charged R320 for someone to come and remove it (Acc number NEW***).

As I drive past the Chubb offices on my way to work, I dropped off the radio and left it as sorted. Two months later and Chubb deducts the R320 via debit order from my account. When I phoned Chubb to indicate that I had physically dropped off the radio and that they shouldn't charge me, I was passed on to their finance department. The very nice lady I spoke to (And my goodness, I wish I had written down her name), indicated that I would wait forever for Chubb to refund me and that I should just go to my bank and stop the payment/ reverse it, which I did.

Now, on Wed, 23rd of September, I've received a tax invoice indicating that I owe Chubb R320. I think not.

Initially, I had spoken with Thomas Chauke, the radio removal chap who confirmed that they didn't come and remove the radio.

What are my next steps - Flip, I wish I could send Chubb an invoice for my time and effort with all of this. I would really appreciate this being sorted out soonest.
