Some Senior manager at Chrysler SA please help
Bought a brand new Grand Cherokee 8 months ago. On 13/05/15 while driving from johannesburg to Klerksdorp, the yellow engine light showed. I took the car in at Cargo motors Klerksdorp (also Jeep dealers). After having the car checked I was advised that the oil pump had seized and I would have to leave the vehicle there for repairs to be undertaken.
Roadside assistance organised a rented vehicle for me which I now must return. On checking on the status of my vehicle, Klerksdorp advised me that they are still waiting for authorisation from Chrysler SA and until then nothing will happen. I phoned the Chrysler call centre several times and no one wants to take responsibility or direct me to a person who must make a decision. Reading about the complaints from Chryslers' customers about how long the repairs take, I realise that complaining about a car that has been at the dealership untouched for less than a week is nothing.
I probably must brace myself for months to come without a car and no one to speak to for update.
