Appalling Service from Jeep Midrand and a Jeep maintanence plan that provides excuses and not repairs
I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a mileage of 48 000kms. The vehicle is under a maintenance plan till August 2020. Took the vehicle to the Midrand Jeep, they found that a sensor was faulty, but apparently the maintenance plan doesn't not cover this and could not be replaced. This is not the first time I have had this issue, as there have been other repairs that were never done. What is the point of having a maintenance plan with Jeep that you pay an absorbent amount for when Jeep cannot cover something as simple as a sensor. What happens when there are major repairs that are needed? This is an almost R1 million rand vehicle with a maintenance plan that provides excuses instead of repairs. This is the first Jeep I have bought and will certainly be the last after what has been experienced, never had this issue with any other brand. The service from the Jeep Centre in Midrand was poor, overall an appalling experience that will lead me to change brands.
