I went to Chronos this morning, never having thought of checking Hellopeter, as I was advised to go there by another clockmaker. I went in with an old German Anniversary Clock. I rang the doorbell and the door was opened. <br> <br> The German lady was sitting behind her desk, talking to another customer and, quite loudly, was kissing up to him by complimenting the timepiece in front of her - probably desperate for business. I was standing awkwardly in the entrance hall, not knowing what to do. She looked up and saw me, after which she screamed at the technician, who was very friendly, to talk to me. <br> <br> I asked him a couple of questions about the clock and an estimate as to what the repair would cost. After about 5 minutes she came out of her office and started to scream at me and the poor employee, as she thought that I was just going to 'drop the clock' and said to me: \He get's paid a lot of money per hour and you are costing me by talking to him. I should charge you for the time spent here!!"<br> <br> I have never before been as insulted! Even if I was planning on paying the outhouse full of money to have my clocks fixed there"
