We have been ****med!!!!

We had a pipe burst in our son's bathroom. We had contractors come in for a quotation. We then decided to contact Christo Smythe (November) as he previously did some work at our home and we trusted him at the time. At the same time we decided to use him to renovate our main en-suite which included tiling as his assistant was a tiler. He was fully paid and we were given a guarantee on their workmanship. He has been ignoring our phone calls and emails. Our showers are continuously blocked (we need to plunge every night) and we are left with water puddles in the shower as a result of the water flow. The one time my husband called him from a different number, he answered and acknowledged that he is receiving my emails, he will pop around but to no avail. We also called him and he said that he was out of CT, however, my son saw him and his workers in and around Lansdowne/KC area. The one time that I informed his workers that I am not paying his final settlement, he quickly called me. He came back in January 2021 to do some final touch ups, that was done untidy (clearly to get rid of us) and when I messaged him with pics asking if he is coming back to fix, he has since ignored us.

We are absolutely disappointed!!! We were recommending him but we can no longer do so as a result. It has appeared that it is all about the money!!….THIS IS SOOO SAD!!!

Where does one find trustworthy/honest business people???
