As an estate agent who regularly deals with property transfers, this has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have encountered. If you are required to register a property through this firm, be prepared for extremely long delays. In our experience, a transfer taking less than 8 months seems unrealistic for them.

Situations that require proper conveyancing expertise – such as estates or complications like interdicts on a client’s name – appear to be handled very poorly.

Communication is also a major concern. There are little to no updates on the progress of the transaction, and follow-ups seem to be lacking unless you constantly push for information.

In addition, the level of professionalism and client service was disappointing. Instead of assisting constructively, there were instances where boundaries were crossed and unsolicited personal advice was given to clients.

Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend that sellers, buyers, and estate agents rather work with attorneys who specialize in conveyancing and who understand the importance of communication and efficiency during property transfers.
