<p>Christ Embassy & Campus Ministry damage Sound Equipment and are Avoiding Payment<br /> <br /> On the 21 April 2017 we hired sound, stages, mikes ( i bought R10 000 worth of mikes just for the event) and lights for a church conference to Campus Ministry ( Campus Ministry falls under Christ Embassy and is the university ministry of at a huge discount - they only paid for one day the other 2 we gave free and did not charge transport. A Payment of R13000 was to be made on Friday but we only received R5000 Pastor Perlie signed responsibility for any damages as they were using there own sound engineers. It took until sunday to get the balance of the money after i threatened to remove the sound desk but only after I was assaulted when I was going to cut off the sound.<br /> <br /> The sound system was burnt out damaging both speakers and amplifier. Normally in such a case we insist on replacement of items especially as this system had only been used twice before which would have been in the region of R20 000. To save them costs i had my supplier repair everything including replacing speakers at a cost of R6600. They also had to pay our sound engineers cost ( 5 trips plus he was there the whole of Sunday till 6:00) of R2500 - price also reduced because he is a Christian.<br /> <br /> We were told damages would be sorted out and i got quotes and eventually i paid for the repair of the speakers as they were needed for an event on the 6 May. We have made numerous calls to Pastor Alfred more than 10. He has not rep**** to one. Pastor Perlie has made promises to sort it out and i was promised that everything was sorted out and that payment would be made on the 25 May 2017. It is now the 29 May 2017 and my phone calls to Pastor Perlie and Pastor Alfred have not been answered. They have not even had the decency to respond to my calls<br /> <br /> It is now 53 days since the incident and we are still waiting to be reimbursed.<br /> <br /> Allan Whittaker<br /> Jays Party Hire</p> <p> </p> <p>It is now 80 days since our equipment was damaged and we have still not been paid. We are still getting a run around from Pastor Alfred Goletlanwe (not that he can be called a pastor when he acts this way), head of Campus Ministry. Christ Embassy church is equally complicit by there silence , we have not heard a word from them after promising to sort out the matter. We have now sent invoices to them on 7 separate occasions including 2 hand deliveries. All we get are promises to sort the matter out, the latest was that they were having a meeting and to quote his words “Thank you for the invoice, expect to hear from me before Friday”. That was the 7/7/2017 and it is now Sunday 9/7/2017. We have not heard a word let alone any payment.</p> <p> </p>
