<p> </p> <p>The body corporate of my complex submitted a letter to me advising that part of my property was not transferred to my name and to contact the transferring attorneys.</p> <p> </p> <p>I sent a request on 29/02/2016 to Chris Kotze to advise. Annie Robertson rep**** on the same day advising that they have requested copies of the Deed from the deeds office and requested the offer to purchase from me. On 2/03/2016 I sent the offer to Annie. On 9/03/2016 I followed up to advise on progress or a timeline for feedback. Annie responded on the same day advising</p> <p>“As previously advised we no longer have the file. I have ordered a copy of the Deeds from the Johannesburg Deeds Office. There is a delay a the Deeds Office and we have been advised that we must manually apply for copies. Our Conveyancer has attended to same. As soon as we receive copies we can attend to your query in full.”</p> <p>I did not read from Annie since. I mailed another follow up on 22/04/2016 and up to now (26/05/2016) I have not read from Chris Kotze.</p> <p> </p> <p>I understand that there could be a delay at the deeds office etc. However a courtesy of a response would be necessary so that I may advise the Body corp accordingly.</p> <p> </p>

As previously advised we no longer have the file.

The matter was registered in 2007 and the files have been destroyed.

We have ordered copied of the Deeds from the Deeds Office. Do you have a copy of the Offer to Purchase which can be emailed / faxed to us.

Should the garage have been an exclusive use area it would have reflected on your title deed.

I have attached a copy of your title deed as well as the preceding title deed where no exclusive areas are registered. This is not an error on our side.
