Shameful Disaster Chris Hani District Municipality

In Cradock which falls under the control of Chris Hani District Municipality as fas as the supply of water and sanitation are concerned. In the town of Cradock, the wastewater treatment works are non-functional and the sewerage of a population in excess of 50000 people flows into the Great Fish River. it is so bad that farmers are losing the young born lamb due to E.coli in the water. One farmer has this season already lost 400 lambs plus other farmers are also loosing high quantities of newly born stock due too the E.coli in the river. NOTHING IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT.
